Hōtaka 2023

Te Reo Tupu takes place from March to November, 2023 and will be delivered as a combination of face-to-face wānanga and online evening classes. The main delivery will take place from March to June, and then September to November, with a reduced workload during the middle months of the year.

Applications are now closed for 2023.

Wānanga Reo

Over the course of one year, ākonga will participate in four Wānanga Reo, to be held in Poutū-te-Rangi, Pipiri, Mahuru and Whiringa-ā-nuku. Each wānanga will take place over a weekend (Friday evening through to Sunday) and will be held at marae throughout te takiwā o Te Roroa.

Akoranga Reo

Between each Wānanga Reo, ākonga will participate in weekly evening classes, once a week. These weekly classes will be delivered online. There will be a break in Akoranga Reo over the winter months, where the learning journey will instead be a more reflective, self-directed learning process for ākonga - focussed upon rangahau - throughout these cooler, more introspective months.
